CALL FOR PAPERS – Deadline: September 23, 2011

2nd TEMPO Conference on INTERNATIONAL MIGRATION

to be held in Vienna (Austria), at the Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies (wiiw) November 10-11, 2011

Invitation to submit: We look for contributions on the broad theme of international migration. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: circular and return migration; the role of social networks and diaspora externalities; remittances, migration and the pattern of trade/FDI; brain drain; migration and institutional change; immigrant integration and immigration policies.

Submission timetable: Submission of full papers (pdf files) are expected by 18:00 GMT on September 23, 2011. Extended abstracts may also be submitted but priority will be given to full papers. Decisions will be made by October 7, 2011.

Travel and accommodation expenses will be covered for participants in the programme. However, if you could contribute to the costs of your attendance from a research grant at your disposal this would free up your space for someone else. Please indicate in your submission whether you will be able to cover your own travel costs or whether you will require funding from CEPR.
